Named after the Down East phrase for being “mentally and physically punished”, MOMMICKED was formed in 2005 after musicians gathered after another event and started playing acoustic guitars. After playing together for small events, in 2010 MOMMICKED decided to step it up a notch and changed their song list to include classic and modern rock as well as other genres. MOMMICKED is soon to be Eastern NC’s official No. 1 party band.

A Mile Too Far
After forming in early 2012, A Mile Too Far immediately started writing songs about the hardships of life and the good times that follow. Although inspired by bands such as Transit and All Time Low, the trio has created their own blend of energizing pop punk and alternative. This was displayed in their self-recorded demo that was released in August 2012. The band says, “Music is about reaching out to people who share the common ups and downs of life that we face every day.”
